I don't know who took me, and took all of these pictures of my mother wearing weird clothing, and with weird things. [Parker holds up a picture of Catherine who looks, well, just like Parker only with 1960s hair and holding a baby. She then compares it with a picture of Parker herself wearing a red leather suit standing next to her father.]

My Daddy's Mr. Parker. [Oh, the pride and respect and importance she puts on this name.] He's going to be really mad when he finds out about this.

[Her voice drops.]

You won't like it when my Daddy gets angry. [Her voice goes into a little whisper.] He might give you to Doctor Raines. [Raines here is like a terrible, terrible curse word, or the bogeyman or both]

[ Steph's device turns on when it falls out of her blanket. She glances down at it, staring at the video in wonder. She doesn't understand this show. ]

[Miss Parker stares at Steph quickly, and then she leaned over and poked the projection.]

[ She giggles. This movie is goofy. ]

[When the person giggles, Parker frowns a bit, and then she picks it up and holds it in her lap.]

[ Now Steph is watching with baited breath for something new to happen. And by baited breath I mean she shoves her thumb in her mouth. ]

Sucking your thumb is a bad habit. [Parker says it with all the poise and knowhow of a former thumb sucker who had the habit broken for her.]

[ The thumb pops out of Steph's mouth and she gasps, staring from her thumb to the screen and back. Is this show magic~? ]

[Parker looked confused and dropped the recorder into her lap. She thought it was a DSR, like a camera, but she hadn't expected to be able to see the people on the other end. When she spoke it was a whisper.]

[ That thumb goes right back in Steph's mouth and she nods, wide-eyed with wonder. ]

Wow. [Parker stared for a minute, and then she looked to the kid again.]

I'm Miss Parker. Who are you?

Are you stuck in the TV? [ HOW ARE WEBCAM IT IS THE EARLY 90S ]

[Parker waved quickly at her, and smiled.]

No, I'm in a room.

Can you tell me where I am? I need to find my mommy.

I don't know where we are, but I'll come help you look.

Okay! [ So innocent and unsuspecting, this one. She'll wait right where she is with her blanket. ]

[It took her a few minutes, but Parker found her on the first floor and called out softly.]

Steph?

[ Steph turns around and waves. ]

[Miss Parker looked around for a moment, and looked confused. She never really had any sort of contact with kids outside of Jarod and Angelo.]

Uh. Where have you looked for your mama, Steph?

I tried to open the doors, but they're locked.

[Miss Parker nodded, and then she extended a hand to Stephanie.]
