I'll meet you outside the pub door in ten minutes. [Eight minutes later, Parker was standing outside the door to the pub, because really... she didn't want to fucking wait any longer. The universe had just kicked her in the metaphoric balls, and really, it just wasn't fucking fair. It was probably a good thing she'd given her gun to West, otherwise she might have actually shot something.]

[Paddy was remarkably grateful that someone was getting him a drink, because he really had had enough of Uhura. At least he could deal with her, now, but she kept just pissing him off. Wasn't quite as bad as crazy brother issues, and boy, did he know that. So he arrived pretty quickly at the pub and gave Parker a nod.] Evening.

[Parker nodded at him in response.] Hey. [Hey was as close as Parker got to a greeting. She opened the door to the pub quickly, and held it open for him.]

[Paddy nodded gratefully and headed into the pub.] You struck fuckin' lucky with this warden, didn't you?

I've had four wardens; they've all let me into the fucking pub and have my smokes. [Well, Croft might not have, but Parker had disappeared before she had the chance to find out. Thank fucking god for that. When they were both inside, Parker climbed over the bar quickly, and grabbed a bottle of scotch and a glass.] Poison?

[Paddy raised an eyebrow, as only one of his wardens so far let him near the pub. It was probably because he had a tendancy to trade the cigarettes and alcohol he did get.] Same, if you would. Unless there's some fucking Irish whiskey back there.

Something about my fucking rapier wit. [The words were spoken quickly in response to the eyebrow; it was either that or her fucking stellar personality. When he asked for Irish Whiskey, Parker poked around behind the bar and pulled out a bottle of Jamison with a small sound of triumph. Setting it on the bar. she grabbed a second glass and shoved both in front of him.] Thank god there's the fucking pub or we'd be rioting every fucking week.

[Paddy took it gratefully and poured himself a drink. A large one.] But a riot's not a riot without some fucking booze, didn't you know? You get drunk and smash some shop windows and bang, riot country.

I musta missed those sorts of riots. We don't have them in Blue Cove. [There was a shrug as she poured herself a large glass, slammed it down and then proceeded to pour herself another and slammed that one as well. The scotch was a familiar burn, and she barely winced as it hit the ulcer in her stomach. Shoulda fucking known that would come roaring back once she was back on fucking board.] But smashing fucking windows always sounds like a good idea.

[Paddy had a drink of his whiskey, sort of wanting to keep up, but mainly just enjoying the fact he had a drink and he didn't have to worry about Uhura thinking he was trying to sell it on. Which he usually was, but that wasn't the point.]

Yeah, my part o'the fuckin' world is rather fucking famous for its civil unrest, so y'know. Smashing windows is always good fucking fun.
