[Parker opened the door looking worse than she did at the poker game. It looked like she hadn't slept and that she had spent a good deal of time pacing, which was exactly what she had been doing. There was a grateful look on her face when she saw that he had brought the smokes with him.]

[Parker blinked when Paddy said that he was going to hug her. No one had ever given her warning of hugging her before (hell, she couldn't remember the last person other than Tommy who hugged her) and she wasn't really sure how to react. She didn't avoid it, but she didn't exactly hug him back either.]
