Where the fuck are you?

[Private to Kay]
I need a list of what's missing from your safe. I want to make sure she didn't keep anything after her little trip.

[Private to Paddy]
You're going to be down two people for dinner. Sorry about it.

...Tomorrow too.

...she's, like, a professional, right?

Re: private - ack. sorry.

Then I doubt she gave a shit who he was, or what he planned to do.

I never gave a shit who I was selling drugs to. Just that they'd pay.

Yeah, but... I ain't saying it's okay, just that you shouldn't be surprised, or pick bones with who she chose, because you generally do stick with who'll pay you.

And, to be honest, Parker? An inmate here, usually is the little guy. Even if they're fucking O'Brien, they're inmates.

Never said you couldn't.

But what you think of him ain't gonna be how she sees it.

Yeah, she is. But don't start off with the 'he's a complete bastard' line. Because y'know, he's a complete bastard who pays.

I might as well send you some schematics. [Because if he rattled off names she might not be able to find them. And it helps him get out of angry drill sergeant of murder mode. So she gets some images of the basic shapes of the items.]

There's one though. It looks like a tuning fork. That's the most important one to get back. Don't turn it on and possibly wrap it in a rag if you find it to bring it back. It's called a universal translator. Whoever's holding it ends up with their thoughts being spewed directly into the head of whoever's it's pointed at- or the room if you don't know how to use it.

And a pair of binoculars with a whole shitload of settings. [He honestly just has the binoculars here because he's still a kid on the inside and thinks they're awesome.]

Yeah, I'll do that.

Do you think she knew what she was helping someone with?

I'll be here when you're done. [He's going to explore all of the swears. All of them. In great detail.]

[Two minutes later, exactly two minutes, Parker let herself into her warden's room. She'd already found hiding places in her room for most of the stuff she'd taken from the safe, though she was annoyed that she hadn't had time to actually figure out whether or not most of it would be useful.

O'Brien better not have squealed.]

[Very reluctantly, Parker dipped into her pockets and pulled out several bits of metal, which she dropped into the basket. She had a thin strip of wire sewn into the seam of her pants, but she hadn't been told to empty her seams, and she didn't like being completely without lock-picking aids.]

It's in my room. Under stuff. [She shrugged. It would be fairly difficult to describe where, exactly, she'd hidden things unless Miss Parker had an extremely detailed knowledge of the layout of Parker's room.

She didn't plan on saying anything about the extra wire she was hiding.]

[Parker sighed.] A few hundred bucks cash, some, like, wire and electrical equipment, a couple old books, wallets, and a John Copley painting.

[A lot of those were from the ports they'd stopped in or people who had left, so Parker doubted anyone would be asking about them.]

Ohhhh. Right. Um.

[Parker thought back, trying to remember the date O'Brien had first contacted her. As far as she was concerned, if you hurt kids, you pretty much lost client-thief confidentiality, so she didn't mind telling Miss Parker.]

He talked to me about it on the 22nd last month.
