[Parker is a slow loris, and she's trying to avoid being seen as she heads down the hallway to the kitchens in order to find some fruit. Of course, she's hard to miss as Parker, because this adorable little climby creature is swearing like a sailor.]

Everybody'd get their go, though. [He straightens up, but immediately flops down beside of her, long ears dangling and his legs sprawled out behind him.] This is Kay, by the way.

Yeah, I can tell. [Parker put a little hand out onto his paw when he dropped down next to her, because she liked clinging to stuff and it was there. Without thinking about what it would mean, Parker muttered.]

Surprised you're a blood hound, I thought you'd be a pitbull.

[Oh like anyone would ever think Parker would be a little and cute thing she was.

[So, so hard not to lick. It is so hard. Especially when the hand is so tiny and it's in between raising up prey instincts and wanting to treat her like a puppy. This is a stupid stated to be in.]

I'd think so, too. [The ears would be a lot more comfortable.] But at least I'm one of the ones that don't stop chasin' even if I'm not one that stays latched on.

Ugh. I hate them. I fucking hate this flood. It's good for nothing more than just humiliating the shit out of us. [Parker groaned and kept clinging to things. She wanted to be in high places, tall places away from things that wanted her to be food.]

Oh, god, I know. This whole damn thing is useless. I found my universal translator but I can't carry it around everywhere. I can only offer it if an emergency comes up. [And then, because she seems so upset, he just barely licks the top of her head. He can't stop himself.]

...I'm sorry. I couldn't help myself. I keep trying not to.

[For a moment, Parker just blinked as the top of her head became wet. And then he apologized to her. She had been licked. For a moment, Parker fluctuated between rage and amusement and then she just climbed him.]

At least I just want to climb things.

[But the words were muttered more to herself than to him.]

[Having a slow loris climbing you is kind of strange, but he has good ears for it. He slowly rises up with her.] I'd much rather be climbing and have thumbs, to be honest.

But at least people know what you are. [Parker, bitter about something that the Admiral had done? There's no way!]

You're a loris. [He saw an Arquellian switch out for a tamarin suit once.] You smell pretty good too.

I'm a what? [Yeah, to Parker that totally sounded like a made up word.]

I would normally fucking smell good, Kay. [So not preening. So not preening... Okay. Maybe preening a little.]

A loris. I promise it's a real thing. [He sounds about as amused as dogs can be, though.]

Oh, but right now you smell like fruit. And leaves. And I can tell that you do.

[Pause.] It's an alien thing, isn't it?

Darlin', it might damaged everyone's entire world view if they caught you marking something. [He's going to get an ear bite at some point. He can sense it.]
