Listen up: Ray has a good idea. There should be someone who an inmate can go to if their warden fucks off. Do you know how many wardens I'd had? Five. How many wardens go away for periods of time? As far as I can see, wardens are always this disorganized, and while I've yet to be assigned, I see no sign that it doesn't, as you say, always 'suck this much'.

I quite agree that Ray's idea was wise, as I remember quite a few times while I was an inmate that it would have benefited me greatly to have someone to go to.

Unfortunately, you'll find that a unified front amongst wardens does not exist. Certainly in some cases we agree, but it would seem that each individual warden has their own idea about what the job should be and must entail. Bickering occurs quite often, as it will when each man and woman acts with their own authority.

I wish I could shed a better light on things, but it would not be the truth. And I would welcome you, but somehow I think it would cheapen what you have accomplished. It is less that you are now a warden and more than you have graduated.

As for the sucking this much? Fuck if I know, Parker, but I've always kinda waved my hands vaguely at the fucking rules and done what I thought was the best. Sometimes, aye, going along with the rules is the best. And sometimes, just shrugging and doing whatever I fucking well feel like is better.

Talking of which. As of... when I tell everyone, you're on 'inventory'.

Second point, look out for Neil so I don't fucking get pestered by Nathan every ten minutes.

Third point, Graduate Tuesdays in the pub needs to happen sooner rather than later. Even if we're the only ones who show.

Fourth point, don't worry if you don't get on with a shit ton of wardens. I'm fairly sure you and Uhura are my only warden mates. Which is a fucking sorry state of affairs, but expected.
